Objective: Plan for next seminar

  1. Next Meeting: Tuesday, April 20th, 1999 at IBIS Solutions at 5:30 p.m.

  2. Minutes of the meeting will be posted on the site from now on.

  3. Egyptian Businessmen’s Association meeting will take place in the coming two weeks:

  4. Title of seminar should be attractive to the business sector

  5. E-commerce Committee proposed Magda to speak at the presentation (include EC-DC project)

  6. Handouts: copies of the presentations + E2C flyer

  7. Questionnaire about knowledge + interest in e-commerce, including obstacles + contact details

  8. Name, Org, Pos, Sector, Tel, Fax, E-mail, Internet Access, Do you want to implement E-commerce? In progress, 1 month, six months, 1 year

  9. Hossam can talk about successful case studies in Egypt + international business cases that are related

  1. Should start organizing towards an awareness seminar that would take place in June 15th Need to identify the following:

  5. Comdex ’99 – Would like to know the role of the E2C for Comdex which will take place from May 15-16th, 1999 – Hossam Megahed

  6. Magda to contact Aly El Kamly since the forthcoming organized EC seminar in Cairo will take place at the same timing as Comdex – May 13-16th

  7. Magda to contact Amr Ragai to be a member of the E-commerce Committee

  8. Magda to contact Khaled Nassar to be a member of the E-commerce Committee

  9. Egypt should have its own case as a counterpart to GITEX – get social fund to start looking at projects + FEI.
